Hello,
I am excited to meet you all! I look forward to learning all about you. In the meantime, you probably want to know a bit about me.
I was born in Montana, but have lived in Washington state for most of my life. I grew up and attended school here, graduating from Pacific Lutheran University with my B.A. in Elementary Education. I had known ever since I was a tween that I wanted to teach. Time spent with my students is time spent in the best possible way! In my free time, though, you can find me reading, hiking, and possibly playing Minecraft.
When I get to know people, I always like to include a few interesting facts. Here are a few about me:
- I love the ocean. I also sailed tall ships on it for four years!
- In my spare time, I like to do creative writing. Ask me about writing stories for the class...
- I am allergic to dogs, but I love them so much that I own one anyway. Cats, however, send me into an instant sneezefest.
